ISLAMABAD: Serena Hotels under its Cultural Diplomacy Initiative hosted a fundraising event for The Citizens Foundation on February 02, 2018. Mr. Aziz Boolani, CEO Serena Hotels presented a cheque for PKR: 2,200,000 to The Citizens Foundation. The evening featured a special programme designed and presented by Zia Mohyeddin, titled ‘Why is Shakespeare, Shakespeare’ followed by a fabulous dinner at Sheesh Mahal, Islamabad Serena Hotel.

Zia Mohyeddin is one of the pioneers of theater in Pakistan, with a career that spans acting, directing, writing, broadcasting, and a wide range of aesthetic disciplines.
The large cross section of the city’s elite including Business men, Politicians , scholars and Media people had responded to the invitation, making the event a very impressive evening.
