KARACHI: The Associates of Karachi Marriott Hotel visited WWF Wetland Centre where they planted mangroves saplings and participated in the presentation about the sea turtles and how the hatchlings can be saved and released in the sea carefully.

It is vital for every individual to understand the importance of marine turtles in the ecosystems. For more than 100 million years marine turtles have covered vast distances across the world’s oceans‚ performing a vital and integral role in marine and coastal ecosystems. Over the last 200 years human activities have tipped the scales against the survival of these ancient mariners. Urgent global action is needed to ensure their future.
All the Associates met the baby turtles and held them in their hands to feel how vulnerable they are to survive in the tough environment that is polluted by humans every day.
