LAHORE: Mr. Asif Mehmood, Advisor to CM Punjab visited Kamran Baradari last week for its facelift and restoration.
Kamran Baradari was a historical and very popular tourist spot in the past but due to lake of interest and many other reasons of the outgoing governments this monument not only lost its historical importance but also the building and the gardens of this site is deteriorating by the passage of time. Now the Government of Punjab has decided to restore this monument and open for the tourists.
In this regard, advisor to CM Punjab for tourism Asif Mehmood along with the Commissioner Lahore, Deputy Commissioner Lahore, DG Archaeology, MD WASA, MD LWMC, Chief Engineer Irrigation, DG PHA and MD TDCP visited the Kamran Baradari and directed the departments to take every measures to restore this historical monument and open for the tourists as soon as possible. He also directed the MD TDCP to take charge of Kamran Baradari.
