KARACHI: The Professionals Network (TPN), while recognizing the Hashoo Group’s best practices in the area of corporate social responsibility, presented 3 CSR awards during its 7th Corporate Social Responsibility summit held in Karachi last week.
Ms. Ayesha Khan, Country Director, Hashoo Foundation/Vice President Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Hashoo Group received the awards from the Honourable Chief Guest, Governor of Sindh, Mohammad Zubair in the following important categories “Education Scholarship Program, Social Impact, and Women Empowerment”.
Prominent personalities belonging to Academia, Government Organizations, Corporate Sector, NGO’s, and Media graced the event.
“The Hashwani family has a long standing heritage of philanthropy dating back to the last six generations, and the Chairman of the Hashoo Foundation, Mr. Murtaza Hashwani carries forward his family’s philanthropy with a global approach and renewed dynamism” said Ayesha.
“Hashoo Group is committed to empower women, assisting them with financial resources and providing guidance on how to become more independent and resourceful. With regards to Education Scholarship Program, Hashoo Group provides educational opportunities for economically disadvantaged students especially from the isolated regions across Pakistan” she stated.
