KAZAKHSTAN: Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov on the sidelines of the government session told reporters that Kazakhstan and Turkey are holding negotiations on selling Almaty airport to the Turkish company, Vlast.kz reports.
“The talks are underway today with the Turkish company. Now I cannot comment, as this is an incomplete deal yet,” he said.
The Minister said that this will be a good step for improvement of the quality of services and attraction of additional investments.
The International Almaty Airport is one of the largest airports in Central Asia and it needs modernization and reconstruction, Atamkulov added.
