MANAMA: Bahrain flag carrier Gulf Air and Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s national air carrier, have signed a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA), effective from January 22. The agreement builds upon the current travel opportunities for passengers of both airlines beyond the hubs of Bahrain International Airport and Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport. This was contrary to predictions and bucked the global travel trend, which saw worldwide international arrivals increase 6% year on year.
