LONDON: Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced tougher-than-expected new rules for arrivals to England from next Monday, including up to 10 years in prison for those who don’t stick to them. Addressing the House of Commons, Mr Hancock said arrivals from 33 ‘red list’ countries with the highest Covid rates will have to quarantine in designated hotels for 10 days at a cost of £1,750 per person. KARACHI: The Sindh government is planning to invite private investors to develop Hawke’s Bay beach with three-star hotels and huts for which it has cancelled leases and is going to have to evict and demolish 254 huts. KARACHI: PIA flights will continue to operate to bring back Pakistanis already in Saudi Arabia, the airline’s spokesperson confirmed after the kingdom’s decision to suspend arrivals from 20 countries, including Pakistan. The ban was placed from 9pm Wednesday, February 3, the PIA spokesperson said. The ban has been imposed in the wake of a new wave of coronavirus.
