KARACHI: On the eve of 2nd May 2018, The management of Avari Hotels International with the planning and supervision of Hotel General Manager Mr. Azeem Qureshi, hosted a dinner to honor, celebrate and give a warm welcome to the recently appointed French Consul General His Excellency Mr. Didier Talpain at Beach Luxury Hotel Karachi.

Whilst speaking on the occasion His Excellency said, “Karachi is peaceful, vibrant and lovely city, along with being business heart of Pakistan, and French companies are interested to invest here in different sectors.”
Furthermore he expressed his satisfaction over the law and order situation in the city and described it a good place for trade and investment saying,
“My French friends called me and enquired about Pakistan’s environment for trade and foreign investment; I assured them it is a safe country.”
He also informed us about French companies being keen to do business in Pakistan including joint ventures mainly in auto industry, transport, waste water treatment plants, pharmaceutical and cosmetics.
He said France and Pakistan had strong business alliance that could be further strengthened by exchange of information, and increased government-to-government and business-to-business contacts. He said many Pakistani students were getting higher and modern science education in his country.
He also expressed his liking towards Pakistani food especially “Lasi” and “Kheer”.
Mr. Grant Raubenheimer, VP Operations & General Manager Avari Hotels and Many Foreign diplomats along withlocal prominent business and social figures attended the poolside dinner and got an opportunity to introduce themselves to the new French Consul General.
Dinner for the evening was prepared by the best chefs at both Beach Luxury and Avari Hotels and consisted a vast array of thoughtfully selected dishes from a variety of different cuisines such as Pakistani, Chinese, Japanese including Prawn Tempura, Behari Chicken, Tomato and Basil Soup, Assorted Salad and many more.
