KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said Aslam Khan has been appointed as Chairman with effect from March 9, 2020, without giving any further details.
The Pakistan International Airlines Company Limited (PIAC) has appointed Aslam R Khan as Chairman on PIAC Board, announced the national carrier on Tuesday, March 10.
It may be mentioned here that the Supreme Court last week adjourned the hearing of a case regarding the appointment of Air Marshal Arshad Malik as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) till March 11.
The additional attorney of Pakistan requested the court that Attorney General for Pakistan, Khalid Jawed wants to appear in this case before the court. Whereas, Advocate Naeem Bukhari counsel for Air Marshal Arshad Malik has sought more time to submit a reply in the court after consulting with Air Marshal Arshad Malik.
