PESHAWAR: The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) participated in the annual charity show in the Republic of Tunisia in a bid to attract more tourists to the scenic places, archaeological and heritage sites of the province.

Tunisian business tycoons, National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs and International women Group had jointly arranged the three-day annual charity show.
Pakistan Ambassador to Republic of Tunisia, Muhammad Hassan and Deputy Head of Mission, Shafiq Ahmad, extended all out support to the TCKP to set up a stall to showcase scenic places, archaeological and heritage sites and cultural and traditional artifacts.
The TCKP also set up a special desk where the visitors were provided information about tourism and cultural potential of the province through brochures, posters, booklets, video documentaries and pamphlets
The visitors and families after obtaining information evinced keen interest in the scenic sites of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its rich cultural heritage.
They said Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had enormous scenic attractions and cultural diversity.
An official said that participating in the charity show was aimed at highlighting the tourist spots, cultural and traditional items to lure more visitors to the province.
He said that it was a great opportunity that tourists and families would know about the KP’s scenic resorts and cultural heritage at the event.
