LAHORE: As per the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Heritage buildings like State Guest House, Governor House Lahore and Murree have been opened for the general public. In the next step as per the directions of Govt. of Punjab, TDCP has started 03 weeks Tourist Guide Training Course at TDCP-Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management, Lahore Campus.
More than 20 best individuals are selected for the 1st course. The course is being offered free of cost to the participants by TDCP. After completion of this course, successful trainees will conduct guided tour at Governor House, Lahore in particular and they also conduct the tour of Lahore city in general. Such courses will empower the youth of Punjab in tourism sector. Chairman, Board of Directors, Dr. Sohail Zafar Cheema, General Manager (Ops) AsimRaza, General Manager (Admin) Mr. Mohsin Abbas Shakir and others were present at the inaugural ceremony of Tourist Guide Course.
