KARACHI: Last week Beach Luxury Hotel presented a Lavish Jashan-e-Baharan and glittering Basant Festival to celebrate its 70th anniversary by giving its clientele a traditional and colourful engagement with men, women and children, young and old flying kites amidst good music and sumptuous food.

Mr. Azeem Qureshi, General Manger of the Hotel greeted all the guests most of whom were the city elites and diplomats. His Excellency Akira Ouch , Consul General of Japan was the Chief Guest.
The guests were handed out beautiful kites to fly and have fun in groups. Kite flying was arranged in open area along the sea. Hotel and things were looking even more amazing in nice and soothing breeze.
There were exclusives stalls representing and reflecting the culture and tradition of all the provinces. People took great interest in these culturally designed/decorated stalls. Furthermore; fun stalls such as a Chingari Film Studio, Marriage Bureau and a Thanna stall was also seen.
Mr. Azeem was throughout mixing with the guests, exchanging pleasantries. The guests enjoyed both kite flying and the typically Lavish food which were served with immaculate arrangements.
By evening, the whole hotel was full of colour and mirth with and young enthusiasts enjoying food and nice Music, true to the real spirit of Basant.
