FAISALABAD: College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) is no less than a gift for the citizens of Faisalabad. In order to save the future, COTHM Faisalabad has played a significant role in introducing practical and skilled education for the boys and girls students. While distributing diplomas and cheques among the passing out students, Shaikh Ijaz Ahmad, Director COTHM College Faisalabad, expressed these views to the participants of the inaugural ceremony of the training program of National Vocational Training and Technical Commission Pakistan.
Director Shaikh Ijaz Ahmad Advocate said that a hefty amount of Rs. two lac and seventy nine thousands is being given to you as honoraria. He further said that COTHM would continue the introduction of these programs for the deserving students. At this occasion, the diploma holders expressed their thoughtful gratitude to the National Vocational Training and Technical Commission Pakistan (NVTTC) on whose support they are not only getting free practical education to support their families but also raising the image of Pakistan. Mr. Waheed Ahmad, the Campus Manager, was also present on the occasion.
Sheikh Ijaz further said that if we look at the international requirements of qualified and skilled work force for the hospitality industry, it emerges as a great opportunity for our youth. Our qualified and trained youth can easily get good jobs in other countries and can meet the industry demands. Especially the UAE, Middle East and the GCC Countries have a lot to offer to the young and dynamic youth of Pakistan.
